布農族介紹
台灣原住民族當中,最先被國際人士知曉的,是以「八部合音」聞名於世的布農族。每年十一~十二月之間,布農人舉行小米播種祭,為了祈求小米能夠豐收,因此社裡的男子圍成一圈,一起合唱「祈禱小米豐收歌」。族人相信,歌聲越好天神越高興,今年的小米就會結實累累。因此,每一個人都以虔敬的心情唱著。歌聲一開始,其實只有四部合音,但當音域高到某一個層次時,軌出現了八個不同的音階,因此被世人稱之為八部合音。這也是目前世界上獨一無二的和音方式。
布農族是父系社會,以氏族為基本構成單位,並利用氏族中的各級單位組成部落中的組織系統。在一個部落中,往往有二個以上的最大氏族的組織單位,而各單位與本氏族均保有密切關係。氏族則共有獵場、共食獵肉、共守喪忌。
* 沒有頭目,以家族長老為首的社會組織:
除了一年一度的射耳祭及爭戰以外,布農人的社會運作大體以家族為一個完整的單位,兩家族的長老又是事務的決策者,在家族中的地位頗受人尊崇。

About Bunun
The most well-known of Taiwan aborigines is Bunun’s “Eight-part polyphony”. Every October till December, Bunun will hold a festival to prey their millet harvest plenteous. The man in the tribe will form a circle and sing a special song to prey. They believed the god will be pleased by their voice, and the millet will grow fruitfully. Everyone will sing the songs devoutly. In the beginning of the songs only have four parts polyphony, but when their voice high enough the songs will become eight parts polyphony. This is the most special chorus in the world.
Bunun is a patrilineal society and has many clans. They use their clans to build their organization system in the tribal. They usually have more than two biggest clans in the tribal. And these clans always keep in touch. All clans share their hunting ground, foods and commemorated together.
Bunun don’t have a leader ,they decide things by the elder in the clans. All clan members have to respect their elders.
